An interesting episode of This American Life focused on the divide in The Republican Party.

One commenter notes about Somali immigrants “We are not in control. Not of our schools, our neighborhoods, or our cities.” All I can wonder is what factors grant any right to control over public spaces and the presence of legal immigrants.

The groups involved in the story says it’s about money. Their money is going to individuals who they believe are less worth spending than them and their issues. Because they’re from outside.
