Hilarious and also thoughtful discussion of doing fake accents!

My accent is super fake. I read somewhere that we get our dialect from the people we go to preschool through elementary school.

Southern Maryland folks, up here in Baltimore they don’t have “Lunchin”, “Lunchbox”, “Cised”, “kirk” and “Bama”??

When I first got here no one would understand anything I said! Like I knew these words as casual, and didn’t even know it was slang or local.
